Maintenance - Tech 1
The maintenance team is responsible for the upkeep and preventative maintenance of the facility, equipment within the facility and the grounds surrounding the facility. Responding to maintenance work orders will determine the projects each day. In addition, the maintenance department responds to emergency projects including plumbing, moving projects and repair of production equipment.
Duties will include electronics/electrical troubleshooting, set up, maintenance and repair of complex production equipment without direct supervision. Required experience includes design, programming, building, operating, troubleshooting, set-up and repair of computer PLC-controlled equipment. Responsibilities include requisitioning materials and supplies as needed. Accurate documentation must be maintained for all equipment in general access location for approved users.
Mechanical skills needed to set up machines for production. In this position, Tech 1 will be responsible for setting up machines and processing orders according to customer specifications. Duties include the requisition raw materials, components, packaging materials, labels, subassemblies to support the production schedule. Complex material requirement calculations will be needed to ensure the proper amount of material is utilized in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities will include repairing production equipment, performing routine maintenance and assisting in the installation and relocation of equipment. At the end of the production process, completion of the finished production records including material consumption will be logged.
As a Technical Writer for Fuller Industries LLC, you would be one of the first to learn of the new products being produced for our customers. Therefore, a high degree of confidentiality would be expected. You would work with the sales team and the engineering team to standardize and manage specifications for products and raw materials. Your role would include developing, gathering and disseminating technical information among customers, engineers and the sales staff. Assisting with the directions and other label information for products would also be expected. You would spend your time preparing and editing instruction manuals, Operational and Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Procedures and manuals as well as other policies and handbooks. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, grammar and proofreading.
A degree in Technical Writing or English is preferred. Education and experience as a paralegal is also acceptable.
